Susan D. LeVine has received awards for her artistic skills since first grade. She has dedicated a large part of her life to the arts, not just painting, but teaching art and art history. In fact, Susan spent a year studying art in Italy, and later earned a masters degree in art history from the University of Chicago. She has exhibited in several Chicago galleries, showcasing her colorful dreamscapes, and some of Chicago's historic buildings and cityscapes as well.
Susan discovered the beauty of architectural and landscape painting after a good friend, a Chicago realtor, asked her to paint a portrait of a home as a closing gift for a client. Word got around, and before she knew it, Susan was painting closing gifts for realtors, architects and contractors across Chicago.
She has continued to expand her business ever since relocating to Santa Barbara in 2004, painting private homes, commercial buildings and landscapes along the Central Coast. She also paints portraits of families, pets and still life.
